The passion for all things equine has been a part of my entire life. Both my grandfathers were horsemen, so it is in my blood.

I have been working around and riding horses since the age of 4, and have never looked back.

I established my riding school (Daleview Equestrian Academy) in 1993 and currently have 19 riders and 12 horses and ponies. The equine family live in a natural herd by day and sleep in open plan stables, with post-n-rail paddocks on them, by night. This way the horses and ponies still have contact with each other. ALL the equines are barefoot and very happy that way. My riders vary from Happy Hackers to SAEF competitive riders, to SANESA schools league riders and endurance riders. Therefore, the equine family have to be able to multi-task. TTEAM has given my horses and ponies the ability to perform to their best whether it be in the dressage arena or out on the endurance track. TTEAM ensures that I have a yard of safe, kind and reliable mounts for my little 4 and 5 year old riders.

I qualified as a SANEF level 1 instructor in 2000. My cherry-on-top, however, is my TTEAM practitonership, I just love being able to give horses and riders the tools they need to enhance their relationships, improve performance and, most importantly, have FUN.

My husband, Mike, and I have been married for 20 years. He just loves the ttouches I do on him after he has completed a marathon. He will be running his 15th Comrades Marathon this year, and my ttouches really help him with post race recovery.

My son, Dylan, is a competitive endurance rider and finds TTEAM work an invaluable tool to aid rapid recovery of his horse, Torstone Tamara, during and post endurance competitions.

My horse, Torstone Tamasha, and I have completed 1500km in official endurance milage, with lots more to come. We have a great deal of fun riding bridle-less in the lariat, it creates an amazing sense of freedom while honing the horse-human bond and enhancing the clarity of communication between us.

TTEAM work is positive, kind and thoughtful. It is truly The Touch That Teaches.
